Toledo Oath Keepers Foundation, LLC is a nonprofit organization composed local citizens dedicated to preserving and protecting their community. Toledo Oath Keepers serves as the local Oath Keeper chapter and is associated with the Ohio Oath Keepers and is also aligned with the national Oath Keepers organization. Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, police, and first responders who pledge to fulfill the oath all military and police take to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” That oath, mandated by Article VI of the Constitution itself, is to the Constitution, not to the politicians, and Oath Keepers declare that they will not obey unconstitutional orders, such as orders to disarm the American people, to conduct warrantless searches, or to detain Americans as “enemy combatants” in violation of their ancient right to jury trial.
The Toledo chapter has been organized to provide education and services to our community as well as local emergency services in times of need. These services may include emergency preparedness training as well as medical, communications, security and engineering assistance in responses to emergencies or disasters, whether naturally occurring or man made. Although Oath Keepers originated as a veterans organization, Toledo Oath Keepers is open to all members of the community who meet the requirements to join.
Oath Keepers reaches out to both current serving and veterans to remind them of their oaths, to teach them more about the Constitution they swore to defend, and to inspire them to defend it.
Toledo Oath Keepers motto is “Amicus protecto fortis”, meaning “strong protection by friends”
Current Serving and Veterans, you swore an Oath…
Our mission is to serve our community in times of emergency, to support our local law enforcement officers and emergency service providers and to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.
